Hotel du Champs de Mars or Hotel Relais Bosquet in Paris?

I'll be in Paris in late April for a few days and decided I'd like to stay near the Eiffel Tower and Rue Cler. So many hotels to choose from. For some reason I keep coming back to Hotel du Champs de Mars and Hotel Relais Bosquet. Anyone stayed at these hotels recently (the last 6 months or so) and can recommend one over the other? I know Relais Bosquet is more expensive, and I do want to be comfortable, but wondering if the extra $$ is worth it over Champs de Mars or other hotels there in the area? Appreciate any feedback.

Love Hotel Relais Bosquet! You can save some by "liking" them on Facebook. We had delicious breakfast included for free due to th Facebook connection.

I've stayed in CdM but not within the last 6 months altho it doesn't change very much from time to time. The breakfast room is of the the pretty small basement variety and you are served breakfast by an attendant - croissant, big hunk of baguette, pot of Yogurt, parfait glass of canned fruit cocktail and coffee/tea. Rooms are very clean, cute Parisian decoration, very nice front desk staff. Most speak English pretty well (night guy is often the least able to speak fluent English). They are excellent about calling a taxi for you for departure. There is no AC but in late April that should not be a problem for you.

I've not stayed at Hotel Relais Bosquet.

While I have not stayed at either of these , they seem to be very similar in all respects to several other hotels in the 7th . Three more of them are Hotel Duquesne , Hotel Muguet , and Hotel De L'Empereur . When in Paris ( again this Autumn ) I stay at L'Empereur , love the place - https://hotelempereurparis.com/

My husband and I have stayed at the hotel Champ de Mars many times , but not in the last 6 months. As a matter of fact we have always stayed there and will when we return. The Gourdal' s have been very kind to us and we consider the hotel our home in Paris. My husband is a photographer and the metro is very close to the hotel so we can be anywhere in Paris quickly. The markets and small eating places are great...you do not need to have a big meal.

We stayed at the Hotel Relais Bosquet summer before last. Squeaky clean, very nicely appointed rooms, good breakfast, well located. Great bakery next store, Rue Cler a block or so away, close to the metro. We would return.

We have stayed at the Relais Bosquet 3 times and would go back again. Love the neighborhood and the rooms are very clean. The smallest rooms are VERY small so we upgrade a tad. Excellent staff, too. Friend them on FB for free breakfast.

We love Relais Bosquet and breakfast is included without friending on FB. Our room (within past year) was large, very clean and comfortable. Wonderful staff. there is a nice large elevator. We no longer ever consider Champs du Mar. Don't like the snippy attitude of owners but the worst part was the very tiny room with a double bed pushed against a wall. My husband is 6' 3" and we had requested twin beds but that was ignored. Breakfast is extra charge at C du M.

Have stayed as Steven has in Hotel Empereur near Rue Cler and loved it. It has AC and we walked over 2 blocks to a charming bakery on Rue Cler every morning for fresh almond croissants. Loved the location as it was near the Eiffel Tower and a metro line. The rooms had plenty of space and a large bath.

We stayed at the Hotel Relais 2 weeks ago. The room was nice, clean and roomy. The breakfast was not good the eggs were not ate able and the directions given to us by the staff to get to different locations where not helpful and in one case the RER station they sent us to was closed down for repair for several months.
