Hotel Diana, Paris

We just returned from a two and a half week trip to France and can't say enough good things about this charming hotel in the Latin Quarter (great value too). 5 minute walk to Notre Dame and even though on a busy street, inside it is nice and quiet. Lovely, clean, comfortable rooms with big windows (ask for a room overlooking the courtyard). Gracious staff and a great breakfast (extra). Highly recommend!

Thanks, Alexandra! We were thinking of trying a different area next time; I'll check it out.

I tried, but they said they were booked for the dates I requested. Try again. The website did not show what days were available, and I gave up trying to play hide & seek to find an opening. Booked another hotel.

Kateja, how far out are you making a reservation for? Some hotels show rooms unavailable early on. You might try emailing the hotel instead of using the website.

I just want to second Jane's post. I've had several circumstances where a hotel's own website did not show availability, but e-mailing the hotel directly got me the room I wanted.

We just booked it for our 25th Anniversary trip in the fall and we're so happy hear this lovely assessment of their establishment. Looking forward to it.

Hi Alexandra: thanks for the great information. I had my eye on that one for last time, but went for a studio apt instead. Did they have a small fridge in the room? I saw the location when I was there, and it seems to get consistently good reviews. I hope to visit Paris again next year, solo, so prefer a “front desk” to check in with each day. Thanks again!
