The RS recommended Hotel de France in Versailles does not answer e-mails, and has a website that seems to have been taken over by an Asian company. Can anyone confirm that they are permanently closed?

I'm not seeing any reviews since fall of 2019 so my guess is that it's closed and/or under renovation.
Oh, and I tried a few dummy bookings too and couldn't come up with anything. Booking.com states that, "This property isn’t taking reservations on our site right now."

Booking.com is stating that hotel is not taking any new reservations.
