I stayed with my parents at this hotel in 1976 and have good memories. Has anyone stayed there recently and what was it like?

Have you looked at reviews on booking.com or TripAdvisor.com? Assuming you mean Hotel d’Angleterre, it gets good reviews on those platforms.
