We recently returned from a trip to Paris and stayed at the Hotel Bradford Elysees. It is a part of the Paris based Astotel group. I can't recommend the Bradford enough. I've stayed at Hotel Leveque on Rue Cler twice before because of the recommendations from Rick Steves'. The recent reviews appear that the hotel is showing some age and wear and tear, so I looked for other hotel options. I am so glad we discovered the Bradford.
The Bradford Elysees is an outstanding hotel (not the cheapest) and in a wonderful location (8th Arr.) and very close to a Metro stop. The staff are amazing and attentive. They make you feel welcome. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable. Our room was roomy for Paris standards and it was spotless. The best attribute of this hotel is the wonderful, amazing staff.
The hotel has a delicious breakfast with a wide variety. They also have a free mini-bar in the room of bottled tap and sparkling water, soda, and orange juice. It is refilled each day. They also have a delicious free snack in the afternoons and a pass that you can use at any of their other hotels in the city. You can just stop in while you are you in another part of the city and enjoy the snacks and refreshments at that Astotel hotel. They also have an honor bar with reasonable prices.
The Bradford Elysees will be my hotel of choice for my future trips to Paris and recommend it to any looking for a place to stay in Paris.
