Hotel apartment in Paris for family

Hi - Can anyone recommend a hotel with a family apartment in Paris? Looking for a suite or apartment in a hotel that has kitchenette, separate beds (not shared sleeper sofa) for my teenagers and husband and I (two twins plus king or queen ideal). clean, safe and reasonably priced. Many thanks!

Hi!

I have rented an apartment through Cobblestone Paris with my husband and two teens. My kids were 13 (boy) and 18 (girl) at the time. The second bedroom had two twins beds which was perfect for my kids. The apartment was La Terrasse Du Sorbonne. We loved the location and apartment. There was a washing machine in the apartment which was great. Although there wasn't a dryer, there was a drying rack which we used. The location was right on Boulevard Saint-Michel which was convenient to metro and sites.

As for reasonably priced - I think its dependent on what your budget is for your trip.

When my kids were 8 and 13, we stayed at a Citadines - I believe it was the Citadines Saint-Germain. The kids slept in the family room - the couch turned into two beds although these beds I think were side by side. If you're going to Paris in the summer this location had AC and it was HOT when we were there. The kitchenette wasn't as nice as the full kitchen in the Cobblestone apartment but it was serviceable. There were also laundry facilities on the premises.

Safe travels!

You do not say what area you want to stay in or your budget (not sure what you mean by reasonably priced) but here are a couple of hotels that have an apartment or two in their properties or are apart hotels.

We rented from Vacation in Paris 15 years ago with good result. The particular apartment in the 7th we had with our two teens is apparently not available, but this one might suit your family:

This one-bedroom with sofa bed and folding cot in the living room is less expensive, but has a 7-night minimum:

Broaden your search to all arrondissements and you can find many more.

This is an American company (based in NJ, I believe) and very easy to communicate and deal with. They take credit cards and you are charged in $$ if that matters ( no foreign transaction fees on your card).

We just stayed at Hotel Residence des Artes, just across from Notre Dame. We stayed in an “apartment” which consists of two separate rooms: one with a queen bed, mini fridge, and full bath (shower only). The other is a junior suite that includes a huge king bed (two twins put together), separate living room with sofa bed, desk, kitchenette (mini fridge, microwave, two burner stove & coffee maker), and full bath with separate tub and shower). Each floor has only two rooms, and if you book both rooms, you can request a key that locks a hallway door, so no one has access to your rooms. We paid about $300€/night for the two rooms together. I found that a “reasonable” price for Paris is a lot different than at home!

The beds were firm. The pillows were great. Water pressure was amazing, with plenty of hot water, and nice toiletries. Rooms were clean, well heated, had blackout drapes, and windows that open. It’s on a street with little car traffic, but a minute away from the Seine. There’s an Irish pub across the street, but we weren’t bothered by any noise. There is a tiny elevator, big enough for two people, but only about 18” by 48”.

This was our 3rd trip to Paris. We loved this location. Metro and RER are a minute away. Shops and restaurants are all around. The junior suite felt palatial in size compared to other rooms we’ve stayed in. The staff were wonderful, helping with luggage and arranging taxis for us. I would return in a heartbeat.
