Highly recommend Citadines Apart-Hotels in Paris

During a recent 3-month trip to Paris, I needed an apartment quickly for my last 5 weeks there, due to being scammed by a scumbag landlord. There are 16 of these hotels scattered around the city (they're also in other countries). I looked at several (Plc d'Italie, Bastille, etc.) but ended up staying in a studio apartment at the Tour Eiffel one (they also have 1-bedroom apartments).

WOW! - it had an incredible view of the top 3/4 of the Tower thru the 3 floor-to-ceiling windows (I was on the top/7th floor), twin beds, a large work desk, free wifi, a small galley kichen and a decent-sized bathroom (rare for Paris). Weekly cleaning was included and there was a pay laundry room, a 24-hour front desk and a secure entry door. It was right across from the LaMotte-Piquette Metro station, Bus 80 stopped right at the door, and a street market flourished under the Metro tracks 3 days a week.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay (or a more fantastic view)!

Good to know, Holly. Thanks. I'm thinking of taking a couple of months to go exploring on my own when I retire. Glad to have the recommendation.

Based on the location of each apart-hotel and the length of the stay, prices vary a lot. So be sure to check out more than one location to find one that fits your budget. The Tour Eiffel one is more expensive than many of the others, but after dealing with a scumbag landlord I wanted a nice place.
