Helping finding mushroom soup 2009 Paris Guide?

We have a long shot question. On our last visit to Paris in 2009 we ate at a restaurant recommended in one of Rick Steves' books, possibly the Paris 2009 book. It's been a decade and we can't recall the restaurant or even it's location (although we think we walked to it from the Eiffel Tower). We had the best mushroom soup or mushroom bisque of our lives and we recall that the book mentioned how good it was. Unfortunately, we're re-reading the Paris 2009 book and we can't find mention of it anywhere. It's also not listed in the new Rick Steves Pocket Paris that we just bought, either.

The restaurant was very small and there was a worn out Rick Steves' sticker on the door when we entered.

Does anyone recall the restaurant recommendation (from over a decade ago)? We're going back next month and we're hoping to eat there, again. Long shot we know.

Thank you

You might find it beneficial to move your question to the correct section, France under Destination Q & A. This section is for reviews and is not closely followed by a lot of posters.

Perhaps it was an even older book, or may have not been an RS book?

Can't help, but have you tried Google? Yelp is for restaurant reviews so maybe it is mentioned there? I just plugged in 'best mushroom soup Paris' into google and some hits came up.
No to be a Debbie Downer, but by now, maybe the place no longer exists....or no longer makes that soup. Sometimes the memory is better than the repeat reality. Maybe leave it that way?
