Great eats near Arc de Triomphe

We really enjoyed Cafe d'Angel on Rue Brey when we visited in May.

If you like mussels & fries, there is a Leon de Bruxelles about half way between Place de la Concorde and the Arc.

There is another one on a street just off the Champs, La Fermette Marbeuf. The street is avenue Marbeuf. It is a very special place in my opinion and very beautiful inside. Not inexpensive but worth the splurge. We on,y ate there once but I remember everything I ate (and drank)!

The fabulous chain restaurant CHEZ CLEMENT is right on the Champs-Elysees. It's very, very close. The interiors are gorgeous and the food is classic French.

I also second Leon de Bruxelles.

And there is also. Fouquet's if you want to drop a load of money and feel chic, and Laduree if you want a delicious dessert and an okay meal with great ambiance.
