Can anyone recommend some nice hotels in Giverny, other than the three listed in the Rick Steves (one of which appears to now be permanently closed)?

We loved the La Musardiere Hotel, it's 600 ft from the Monet Gardens and the food was excellent.

Paul & Melissa- Have you booked anything yet? Having the same issue for next April. I tried the most recommended hotel La Musardiere Hote and nothing was available apart from one night April 1. Curious what you decided on. Thanks!

Do you have a car? If so, consider nearby La Roche Guyon, an arguably prettier village with a very interesting castle jutting out of the cliff. The Logis Hôtel des Bords de Seine there is nothing to write home about, but it is comfortable and cheap in a good location.
EDIT: hmm, apparently the place is under new ownership and the food is now terrible if reviews are to be trusted. There goes my recommendation I guess.
