Favorite Restaurants in Beaune??

My husband and I are looking for a great place to eat dinner in Beaune, France. We will be staying overnight on a Saturday three weeks from now. I was planning on LE BACCHUS, but according to a recent post on fb, they are suddenly closed for the month of June. Bummer. My husband and I are in our early 30's and consider ourselves budding foodies! Preferably a unique/pretty ambiance, nothing too formal. Also, it will be my birthday!

Normally I would go directly to my Rick Steve's guidebook for ideas, however Beaune is not featured in my Best of Europe guide that came with our tour.

We had a wonderful dinner in Beaune at Caveau des Arches. Our BOE14 guide recommended the restaurant and we weren't disappointed. Great food, wonderful service, and lots of locals. Location was near the tour hotel. Reservations essential.

We’ve enjoyed dinners at Le Vintage on Place Carnot, in the heart of town. We’ve eaten there at least twice, probably three times. Whenever we’re in Beaune!

Yep, just checked. Three times, and the food was great every time.

Check out a place named Le Conty. Really nice, and not too pricy. Had several good meals there.

Thank you for the recommendations. Sadly, Le Caveau Des Arches is already fully booked. Does anyone have experience with 21 Boulevard or Le Relais de Saulx?
