Anyone have a favorite restaurant in Colmar. We will be there in a week and I’m excited to eat some great food.

La Grappe d’Or in the nearby wine village of Riquewehr had delicious food and wine in a charming setting. Not inColmar but worth the drive.

If you’re on a budget and hungry, a potato skillet dinner is surprisingly good. A variety to choose from. Not French but reminds you that Germany has been in and out of this part of France.
In a nearby alley, the restaurant staff feeds pigeons. I joked that they should have pigeon on the menu. No one laughed. They found a server who knew of a restaurant “a few valleys away” that has pigeon on the menu.
