Family friendly hotels/accomodation in Paris

We are a group of two families (4 adults + 4 kids between 5-9 years of age). Do you have any recommendations for family-friendly hotels that can accommodate 4 people in a room.

  • Would prefer the hotel to be located closer to some of the attractions and the metro stations
  • We will be travelling in August; so A/C would be nice

Does it make sense to consider rental apartments/homes? Thanks in advance.

Look at Citadines Aparthotels.. no need to worry about the legality of the apartment ( many are illegal rentals and the city is slowly cracking down on them) the one in St Germain is well located.. and has AC.. I would not go without AC.. I don't care what anyone says.. its NOT always hot.. but when it is.. its miserable being out all day .. then having no cool retreat.. and you sometimes cant leave windows open because of noise. They have one bedrooms and small kitchenettes..so while not a huge apartment you get all the services of a hotel , ( like leaving luggage before and after check in,maid service, and a desk clerk that can answer questions and call taxis etc) but still can make kids snacks etc. and a bit of extra space..

Hotel Marignan (on Sommerard, NOT Champs)

Family run, budget type place. Nice location in Latin Q., near Notre Dame. Free use of laundry facilities.

My family has booked a quad room for June. Only 140 Euros for room w/ shared bathroom.

I flirted with getting an AirBnB rental for our stay...but we've had a "host" CANCEL(!) our reservation in the past and now I'm a bit paranoid it could happen again. I went with the relative security of a well reviewed hotel instead.
