We have been to Paris many times and there are just so many wonderful restaurants to eat in. It's overwhelming. This time we are taking our daughter and her two sons (ages 13 and 17) we are staying just north of the Tuileries Gardens. We have some favorite restaurants but would love some suggestions that are walkable in the neighborhood where we are staying. We've had hotel suggestions, but they tend to be perhaps more for "foodies". We are looking for more "Rick Steves" like restaurants. Along the lines of bistros are brasseries that are very traditional and family run. Any suggestions in the 2 Arr and 8 Arr? We want these young men to have a wonderful experience that feels very local.

In the 2nd, we've had consistently good bistro meals at Le Compas. You have much to look forward to making wonderful family memories.
