Our last 2 nights in Frnce will be Dijon and there are 3 of us traveling via train. Does anyone have a very good value hotel, 130Euros or less and we need a twin and a double or 3 twins. I have been on all of the booking sites reading reviews and did a search of the blog. A few people recommended the Kyriad hotel but it's by the train station and they did not like the area.

Actually, the Kyriad is fine and a short walk from the station. There is nothing at all wrong with the area and you can walk from the hotel to the centre of Dijon in about 7 minutes, and you pass the Tourist Information office on the way. And what could be more convenient when you depart Dijon than to be only steps away from the train station.
I've stayed in Dijon near the station. My only comment is that it reminded me of Green Bay. But of course, I chose the location for precisely the reason that it was close to the station for a one-night stay, then moving on.
We were in Dijon in May and stayed at Hotel des Ducs! The location is perfect near the city center!

We stayed at the Hotel Du Nord. Great location and parking in secure underground lot across the plaza. I signed up for the Quality Inn Program and got a better rate. We didn't buy breakfast but went to a cafe. Short walk to the train station for our friends. Had a great meal at a restaurant not too far away. If you are interested I can find the name.
