D day tour, log fires and Homemade cakes in a Normandy Manoir.

My wife and I have just Stayed at the most wonderful B+B on the out skirts of Bayeux and a stone throw from Omaha Beach.
We spent 3 nights after Christmas in this Normandy Manoir and did not want to go home.During our nights we sat around the log fireside eating home made cakes and scones and using Catherine's wonderfully equipped honesty bar.During our stay we took the American D day full day tour that was included in our package. What a day we had braving he strong winds and learning much more about the landings than we could have every expected.
If your planning a trip to see the D day sites or just sample the wonderful Normandy countryside you have got to give this place a try....you will not regret it.The Manoir de Herouville was built in the 1720s and is set in wonderful grounds.
All the info you need is on their site at www.manoirdeherouville.com and they also have an outstanding trip advisor reviews.
