We made reservations for lunch at the orangery during our day at Chenonceau ! One of the very best meals we had in France. Our table next to the window looked out over the lawns. We happened to be there when there were two big groups, but there was no lack of service for us. Of course, it was a leisurely meal - just what we needed after touring the chateau all morning and before walking the gardens in the afternoon. Well worth the cost! Eating in France is part of the whole experience, after all!
