I am searching for a low-key place to have dinner on a Saturday night in September. Does anyone have experience with Carmelo's? If not, other suggestions welcome.

Hi - We had a terrific dinner in Nice at Le Frog. Traditional French cuisine well executed. If you make your way to Antibes, I also recommend Momento da Salvo for fantastic Italian food where many of the products served (wine, olive oil, wheat grown for bread flour, etc) are from family properties across the border in Italy. Not certain what area of the city you’ll be in, but we stayed near the old port and found excellent pastry and produce nearby. Bon voyage!
