We had a delightful surprise in discovering L'Entracte restaurant along the Cagnes sur Mer promenade--delicious French fare for a reasonable cost, served by a very gracious and welcoming host. Our meal was the 3-course Plat du Jour--Pate Compagne with fresh warm bread served in a basket that was refilled, Blanquettes de Mer which consisted of perfectly cooked seafood atop a bed of rice nestled in a delicious sauce, followed by Fromage Blanc with honey for dessert--delicieux!
FYI, Cagnes sur Mer is a seaside community that neighbors Nice. It has a lovely seaside promenade and an old and still working fishing port--Port du Cros du Cagnes.
