Wee have had nice stays at both the Churchill Hotel as well as Hotel Rheine Matildhe.

Hotel Rheine Mathilde.
Small, family-owned place in the shadow of a circa 1069 cathedral and not far to walk to Bayeux Tapestry (which is actually more of a needlepoint than a tapestry)
Patisseries not far, either, which is a plus.

Another vote for Rheine Mathilde. 2 yrs ago Sept. Loved it! Good breakfast and dinner! Perfect location!
