We took the boat tour as a way to introduce our granddaughter to the sights in Paris. We got seats on the top of the boat so we could see everything. We settled in to see the places we would go to the next few days. Unfortunately, the audio on the boat was not able to be heard at all on the open deck. Occasionally we could hear some sound so we know they had it but it was not possible to hear it. We tried using the internet on our phones to get the audio as directed by the guides, but the internet kept dropping (every time we went under a bridge, for example!!). We had to reconnect to the site several times and then just gave up because it was too unreliable. While we saw the sights from the Seine, we really did not learn anything about the buildings we were passing. Not a good value for the money.

I have been twice both at night in the Summer and Winter and loved it. We did The Vedettes du Pont Neuf, but I think they are all basically the same. I can't remember if the audio was working, but I don't think we could understand him, but I don't remember that even mattering. We had so much fun just cruising around, doing some major people watching and enjoyed seeing the dancers out. It was like being a fly on a wall, peering into how vibrant the social scene is on the river.

I took the Vendette Pont Neuf regular cruise twice (when I was in Paris in October the other boats were not picking up at their alternate locations, and since I was in the LQ, the VPN was closest, so therefore the easiest). I took the 645 pm cruise my first night and was up top (because, PARIS LIGHTS! omg how awesome) and had no issue hearing the person doing the speaking - I clearly remember them discussing the ET lights and how they weren't sure if they were going to be on during this cruise.
