We are traveling to Paris the first week of September and found Hotel Bonaparte as a good option recommended here. However some reviews say it does not have AC even though the website does. Can anyone who has been recently confirm that they do indeed have air conditioning? Thank you! Also any food recommendations around the area are appreciated!
Yes! Daughter and I just stayed there in late May during a heatwave (90s F every day). They do have AC that kept it comfortable though definitely not as strong as the AC at premier inn in London. We were fine. So much food in the area! Maison Mulot has delicious pastries for breakfast, for one. I guess it depends on your budget for meals but there are a ton of places on St Germaine blvd and surrounding.
Elevator is tiny! But I really enjoyed the stay. Daughter is a big Napoleon fan so it was a must.
And yes they're very quick to email back and if you need, they'll store your luggage if you're there before check in.
Thank you so much! Very helpful! Yes we are arriving at 7:30 am so luggage storage is a plus too. We are foodies, so usually a higher budget for food if it’s good. Thank you for sharing your intell!
We had the best dinner at Hebe restaurant. It's about a 20 minute walk from hotel Bonaparte. Make reservations if you plan on going.
Yes we were there last year. Had the big room at the top. Great area. Did use uber to go to foundation louis vitton and took a walking tour in Montmartre. Only there a few days. There is a large church nearby that hosts a lot of concerts. Also great park nearby too. Yes the had air-conditioned rooms. A very tiny elevator and super steep stairs. But we loved it.
