My husband and I will be in the French Riveria on Sept 26 - 30 this year. We can't decide whether to stay in Antibes or Villefranche-sur-mer. Does anyone have any suggestions? We will have a rental car and our budget is $$-$$$.

Either would be fine. Antibes has a lot of choices of things to do and see and there are many more hotels and restaurants. For most, I'd suggest Antibes. A good place to stay is La Place Hotel Antibes. www.la-place-hotel.com/uk/hotel-3-etoile-antibes-site-officiel.php
