Am desparatly looking for a place to stay in Dordogne for this late August

We will be in Dordogne area for 3-4 nights in late August 2022. We were looking forward to staying at Petite Versailles B&B but is now closed. We would prefer to not stay in Sarlat but perhaps a B&B. Help! I am hoping for thoughts. THANK YOU in advance!

That looks wonderful. We will have a car. Do you know how far it is from the caves, Vitrac (for canoe), Chateau Marqueyssac and Rocamadous??...driving?

21 miles to Vitrac. About 30 miles to the Caves. 40 miles to Marqueyssac. 50 miles to Rocamadour. The hosts are experts in the Dordogne Valley. Perfect day trips.

Too bad about Le Petit Versailles, we loved the place. Their website is still up -- do you know if this is a temporary closure or permanent? I hope you find a good alternative, I'm sure there will be some options.

Aimee,
I have tried to reserve 4 nights at the airbnb you suggested wthout success. I have never stayed at an Airbnb. In order to secure a resertvation at your suggessted BnB in Beynac, do I need to 1st open an account and submit drivers license etc. over the internet? I know you're laughing.
