Hello all, my wife and I will be visiting Paris later this year and we are staying in Clichy since we use family IHG discount. I hear it's not too far away from proper Paris and it's a pretty safe area, does anyone have experience in Clichy? We haven't mapped out a proper itinerary yet, however, we want to see some popular spots, such as, 1) Louvre, 2) Eiffel Tower, 3) Notre-Dame Cathedral, 4) Arc de Triomphe, 5) Musee d'Orsay, 6) St. Germain, etc.
We are also interested in shopping, we love cafes, pastries, we also want to bring back some crepe batter, etc. We need more suggestions, I know we can utilize social media but sometimes it's overwhelming, therefore, I want to hear from you guys and give us your best food recommendations, any tips for tourists to be safe from pick pocketers, tips/advices on using RAPT app, tax refunds, etc.
We will be transferring to Switzerland from Paris on Day 6 from Gare de Lyon, we are not sure whether to shift to the hotel near the station or just train from Clichy.
