I have airline reservations into Geneva SZ arriving 28 Monday August and leaving Saturday 2 September for the purpose of going to Chamonix before our RS Scandinavia tour. I am having a lot of trouble finding accommodations. HELP. Does any one have some suggestions or know which hotels Rick Steves uses on his Eastern France tour when they visit Chamonix?

We stayed at Hotel L'Arve in 2018 and enjoyed the stay so much that we chose the same hotel when we made a return visit to Chamonix in 2022. These trips were independent travel, but both times, a Rick Steves tour group was also staying in the hotel.

Thank you Vickie of Wisconsin for your most helpful suggestion of Hotel L'Arve in Chamonix. Your writing gave me hope and while Hotel L'Arve could not accommodate us for our five night Chamonix stay I have been able to secure accommodations for our five night stay.
