Does anyone have a recommendation for a place to stay in Helsinki that's close to the port where the ferry from Tallinn returns? We haven't booked our Tallinn-Helsinki ferry yet, so there's an option for which one to choose, depending on a close place to stay. Thanks!

We were in Helsinki two years ago but can't remember the name of the hotel. I think it was the Holiday Inn Helsinki West-Ruohalati.
From there we walked to the pier which took about 15 minutes. Very nice hotel for the price with great views.

The Viking and Silja Line terminals are on the opposite sides of the harbor. If you use Viking, the Scandic Grand Marina is close to Viking but on the pricy side. We were at the Grand Marina a couple of years ago. Good breakfast About a mile walk from the central train station but only 400 meters from the Viking terminal.
