Long term luggage storage Helsinki

I am planning on taking a RS tour this summer, but will have been traveling around Europe for several weeks before and am worried about gift and souvenir accumulation. I'd like to at least have the option of storing something in Helsinki for eight or nine days. I see that the railway station has luggage storage, but can't tell if there's a day limit. I'll be flying into Helsinki, but leaving by ferry, so I'd like to avoid airport storage if possible. Any information or alternatives would be appreciated!

If you could check on left luggage storage at the Helsinki hotel between your independent travel and your tour.

I just used the train station luggage lockers in August, but unfortunately don't remember the time limit. However, you might try posting your question on the Helsinki Forum om Tripadvisor. There were several locals who answered my questions and perhaps a local would check for you while passing through the station.

I'm confident that your hotel will hold a parcel for you. You might also have some items that you decide are appropriate to mail home from the post office.

Thank you, everybody, for your kind replies. It sounds as if trying to leave some luggage with my hotel in Helsinki is the best course. I'll try that first!
