I plan to be in Finland for 6-7 months this year, and am looking for a health insurance plan. I'm having trouble finding an insurance plan that would work for me, because I have a chronic pre-existing health condition (Crohn's), and it seems most international insurance plans exclude pre-existing conditions. And even if a specific plan sometimes covers pre-existing conditions, it often has restrictions, and may specifically exclude Crohn's or other specific conditions. I'm from the United States, so I'm also not entitled to certain benefits afforded those from certain European countries.
Thus, does anyone know where I might find plans that are more inclusive of pre-existing conditions?
