Enough Time for Transfer from Helsinki to Ferry?

Hello Kind People,

Does my plan of getting from Helsinki airport to West Harbor Terminal 2 make sense? I am concerned about how long it takes to get through customs, And I think it is recommended to get to the ferry an hour in advance. So, basically, I have 2 hours from landing in Helsinki to getting to Terminal 2. Is this too tight or is it enough time? And does the ABC ticket for the train also cover the transfer to a tram? Have I missed anything? Is there a better way?

Here is my schedule:
Arrive Helsinki airport, Sunday 25 May at 13:10
Take train line I or P to Central Station
Transfer to Tram 7 or 9
Arrive at West Harbor Terminal 2
Ferry departure/Tallink at 16:30

Thank you for your thoughts and comments!!

Before I answer, I need more info-from where does your flight to Helsinki originate?

And will you have checked in luggage?

And does the ABC ticket for the train also cover the transfer to a
tram?

Yes, it can be used for local trains, trams, buses and metro within the A, B and C zones for as long as it is valid.

Technically it is doable if your flight lands on time and your timing for trains/trams works perfectly. For me I'd want a little extra time to allow for delays that are outside my control:). Any chance you could take a later ferry? It would allow you a bit more wiggle room. I will say that pubic transit in Helsinki is very easy to use!

Forgot to add...I can't speak to coming through immigration in Helsinki. That could be the make-or-break point of your plan.

@Badger. Thanks, I will definitely explore later ferries.

A later ferry sounds like a good idea. I have no idea what the immigration lines might look like, but if you had arrived from another Schengen country I'd say it sounds perfectly possible.
