Looking for recommendations for a convenient (and good) hotel for a one night stay at HEL airport. Would need to be walking distance or have shuttle from terminal building and be close to car rental pick up for the following day. Many thanks in advance.

I've never stayed at it myself, but there is a Scandic at the airport. They are usually pretty reliable.

I've stayed at the Hilton which is also on airport grounds. About a five minute walk from the terminal. (You don't leave airport grounds.)
I'd have no problem staying there again.
