3:30am transport to Helsinki airport

Hello,

I would very much appreciate some suggestions on how to make a 6am flight out of Helsinki (back to USA).
Would there be a 3am train out of Helsinki Central? Edit - I downloaded HSL to my phone, it appears on the half hour all night are trains to airport from Central Station.

Am I better off staying at an airport hotel that night (and would they even provide shuttle at that hour?) I found an inexpensive airbnb just outside the airport and it says bus to airport is close by. The answer to half my questions should be on Helsinki's metro site but the hsl.fi site is blocked on my browsers (thanks, Microsoft) and I can't confirm schedules. I don't want to be wandering around at that hour.

I have two nights in Helsinki in September. Arriving on Monday via ferry from Tallin, departing flight 6am Wednesday.
Tentatively, I plan to get a metro pass (HSL) and spend a day and half in the city. Open to any ideas on things to do as well.

The first commuter train of the day leaves the central station 4.12 and arrives at the airport 4.59. But there are buses running all night to the airport every 30 minutes so it's certainly possible.

But with such an early departure I'd consider an airport hotel to save a bit of time in the morning.

So far, the airport hotels that have shuttles start running at 6am. I'll keep looking. Foolish to pay extra for being close and breakfast when I won't be able to have either one and need to hire Uber. The walking distance hotels are running pretty high $$. Looking into sleeping pods are $72 overnight. Has anyone used before?

Went ahead and booked GLO hotel sleeping pod/room which are less $ and look much nicer than the HEL ones.

I stayed at the Hilton at the Helsinki airport before an early morning flight. It's a five minute walk to the terminal on airport grounds. But not cheap.

They had a free continental breakfast starting at 4 AM.

There are a couple of hotels within walking distance of the terminals. So in the end it is up to you if you want to stay at the airport and save a bit of time in the morning or in the city. But glad to hear that you found an option.
