Tallinn to Riga - Side Trips

Hi all,

Any recommendations for little side trips between Tallinn and Riga? We are traveling between both cities by car hire.

Going via Tartu and Estonian National Museum adds a little over a half an hour of driving, plus time in the museum. But it is a very good museum.

Just before you get to Riga is The Ethnographic Open-Air Museum of Latvia. Or you could go via Cēsis for Cēsis Castle.
