Looking to spend 2/3 nights in Tallinn at the beginning of September. Hotel recommendations appreciated.
The Hotel Cru is quite nice. It's in Old Town, a short walk through the city gates. That means it's not far from the bus station (which is also where the bus from the airport terminates).

Thank you.
I stayed at Hotel Telegraaf and enjoyed it. Also in the Old Town and also a short walk from the gates. There is a great (but rather pricey) Russian restaurant in the hotel.
I stayed at the Savoy near the edge of old town a few years ago and it was very nice, if a bit noisy at night being near a club and I had a street view room. I’m in Tallinn right now and chose the Von Stackelberg, it’s on Toompuiestee and I cross the street and walk a pleasant 10 minutes into old town, entering near Alexander Nevsky cathedral. Gorgeous hotel, spacious & lovely decor, staff is very attentive & helpful. Very quiet and overall exactly what I wanted on this trip.
