I am having problems with Tallink, the ferry company. I have a reservation for one night in July to travel from Stockholm to Tallinn but I am unable to log into my account to verify the trip. I did print the screen that shows my reservation. The problem is that I cannot get Tallink to reset my password. If I go to the Tallink website and put in my email or phone, it says to check my email for a code and it never comes. I have checked my junk folder. I have emailed the international email and no response. I tried calling but I am having problems dialing the correct office. I would like to make another ferry reservation from Tallinn to Helsinki. We will traveling on July 10 from Tallinn to Helsinki. Do I need to make a reservation ahead of time or can I make it the day we want to leave Tallinn?
Well, on the one hand, the boats are pretty big, so the chances of them selling out seem low.
The docks are not too far from the old town city area, can you go over there while you are
in Tallinn (I'm assuming you'll be in Tallinn for a bit before your ferry trip) and work it out.
Any reason you can't use another email address to make the second reservation?
Yes, we will be in Tallinn for 3 days and 2 nights. I think that is a good idea to book it when we are in Tallinn or even Stockholm. I did not want to create / use another email address as I don't monitor my junk email very often.
Check fares for today/tomorrow and a date two werks from now to see whether the cost varies. I paid a great deal extra for a late purchase of a ticket and cabin on the overnight ferry ftom Stockholm to Turku in 2023.
Viking also sail the route.
It might actually be interesting to compare the two companies by traveling with both in opposite directions.
I did the trip with Viking. It's only two hours.
I can't see you having any problems buying tickets the day of. There are numerous sailings every day.
