Hotel in central Tallin

I will be in Tallin in early august for a couple of nights. Can anyone recommend a good hotel, central to the main sites?

Thanks in advance for your assistance,
Cheers

I stayed at the Hotel Telegraaf. Perfect location. Nice breakfast. Not the cheapest.

I have visited Tallinn twice--first time I stayed at the Savoy Boutique Hotel at the edge of Old Town, very nice location and spacious rooms, good breakfast. The next time I couldn't get a room there so I tried the Von Stackelberg, beautiful old residence of a baron and located just outside the Old Town walls across from Alexander Nevsky cathedral--really loved the location, 5 minute walk into Old Town and also close to the Balti Jaama Turg, a really interesting marketplace with shops and food, and the fascinating Vabamu Museum of Occupations and Freedom. I would choose it again if I return.

We enjoyed the Cru Hotel. It’s a former merchant’s house in the old town. Our room was under the eaves on the third floor. It was a very large room but I definitely had to duck to get in and out of bed. The prices weren’t bad in January. I’m not sure what they are in the summer.

The Nunne Boutique Hotel was a nice hotel. Great breakfast. Nice location. Nice rooms. No language barrier. Closer to train station than to Ferry. Stayed there for five nights and was treated very well.
