From May through September what is the best way to get from Copenhagen to Tallinn? Thanks

Define best? There are direct flights with SAS (currently suspended due to pandemic and I'd be surprised if the route doesn't return) but there are other options as well, like train to Stockholm and then an overnight cruise ferry.

We prefer a train or boat. But will fly if reasonable and would save a lot of time. My wife likes over night boats.

Flying will save time, but train and boat can be an experience and will let you see a bit of Stockholm as well. It depends on how your schedule looks and if you want to see Stockholm.
But basically the choices are:
Direct flight (1:30), book at www.flysas.com
Train to Stockholm (5h), book at www.sj.se + boat to Tallinn (overnight), book at www.tallink.com
