Yet another nationwide train strike -12 companies - Saturday 26 Nov

Yup, on again, off again, back on again.

If you plan to travel on or around the 26th, check with your train operator.

It will be 9,500 train Divers of the ASLEF union so expect next to not any trains to operate.

The 12 companies are:

  • Avanti West Coast
  • Chiltern Railways
  • CrossCountry
  • East Midlands Railway
  • Great Western Railway
  • Greater Anglia
  • London North Eastern Railway (they withdrew rest day and overtime working from them 2 days ago)
  • London Overground
  • Northern Trains
  • Southeastern
  • Transpennine Express
  • West Midlands Trains (probably including London Northwestern)

Thank you so much for this! Luckily, that will be the part of our trip in which we'll be renting a car, so it shouldn't affect us.
