Witness for the Prosecution

Hi all,
My daughter and I will be in London in February and we're thinking of seeing Witness for the Prosecution. Just wondering about where to sit. It would be great to be in the jury box but we won't be paying 180 pounds each for seats. Would like to hear from those of you who have seen it, and where you sat and what you thought of your seats (also what you thought of the play). Thanks!

We saw it in August-I highly recommend it. I didn’t get tickets until a few days before (like you, the prices scared me off). We ended up in 4 seats high up-I couldn’t see one of the science, but it was very dark anyway and my kids said I didn’t miss much. Afterwards, we went to the London Eye since it was right next door. I was initially put off by those prices as well, but I thought it was well worth it.

Oooooh, an Agatha Christie play, and in such a unique venue! Loved the movies. Haven't seen this play, though. If you can get stall seats, I would. Some of the gallery seats will have partial obstruction from the pillars. You can get a good idea of the seating layout on the theatre website or by Googling Images of the theatre.

Saw it December of 2019. Paid £82.50

Loved it.

Courtroom stalls: Row C Seat X 55

Great seat, great play.

It’s Agatha Christie. How more British can you get?

I saw the play in December 2023. Sat in the Central Gallery; I believe in the first row. Seat was fine.

Like most courtroom dramas, the play features theatrics, not adherence to the rules of evidence. But it is entertaining, and I enjoyed it.

I saw it in 2024 and sat in Courtroom Stalls seat F159. I thought the seat was excellent. I’d definitely choose a seat in the courtroom stalls. It was worth it just for the unique venue.

I only paid $42.50 for the seat. I bought it on the day of the performance from the TKTS website at a discount.

I see the OP has already purchased their tickets, but just adding my two cents. Saw this almost exactly a year ago on my own and I absolutely paid the premium for a jury box seat. It was fun having a small part to play and I think absolutely worth the splurge. The jury seats aren't the best view, as they are off to the side, but still loved it.

Angella, that sounds like so much fun! I'd love to do that, but I just can't justify $400 for my daughter and I to see a play. But I'm glad someone who sat in the jury box chimed in. I can imagine how awesome that was.

I saw this in February from the stalls, row F. It was entertaining and I didn't wish I was in the jury box. It's a marvelous venue for the Christie play.

We saw this in July 2018. Can't recall the exact seats, but they were several rows up, in the middle on the main aisle, looking at the courtroom (& the jury) basically straight on. I think there was some action happening in the aisle (exciting!). I should probably see it again ;-)

Ah, thanks to TripIt and emails: Stalls Row E, seats 131, 132, and 133.
Would get those seats again.
