Thank you so much. My list for London grows and grows! I love the bench with FDR and Churchill.

Yes, thank you so much! I just started making notes/plans for our trip between Christmas and New Years and I love these types of walks. Adding it to my list!

If anyone is into public art you should try taking The Line Walk https://the-line.org/

The sculpture walks takes one into areas/neighborhoods not often on tourist’s itineraries.

Great pub to stop into at the end of the stroll is the Riverside Anchor and Hope. From there short walk to Charelton Train Station and back to London proper.

EDIT: thanks for this intel on the Churchill Walking Trail.

It turns out tonight that I missed off at least one site- the Churchill Memorial Gates in the Crypt at St Paul's Cathedral- https://www.stpauls.co.uk/nelson-wellington-and-churchill

And I realised the omission in the most surprising way possible- reading the detailed itinerary for the England pilgrimage of the Compline Choir of St Mark's Episcopal Cathedral, Seattle, as I was working out when to go and hear them at Evensong and Compline during their pilgrimage as I need to book the train ticket to London soon. The choice was St Alban's Cathedral, St Paul's or Canterbury Cathedral.

I think I have decided on St Paul's on 8 August.
