Windsor Castle transportation from Train Station?

We are planning to go to Windsor, but the last time we were there, we remember the very long walk, & that was 22 years ago.
Are there taxis' or other means of transportation?
All advice is welcomed & appreciated.

There are two stations, and both are a five minute walk to the castle.

If you are arriving in Windsor at the Windsor and Eton Riverside station (which is what we did in June, 2023), there's a taxi stand outside the main entrance to the station.

There is no long walk to the castle from either train station. The Windsor Eton Central station is a five minute walk, from Windsor Eton Riverside station is an 8 minute walk. Getting a taxi like someone suggested is crazy, most cabbies probably wouldn’t take you since they drive 3 minutes the let you out.

Hi!
Everyone here has given you correct information. :-)

I want to add one nuance. If you arrive at Windsor Central, the castle is basically “across the street.” There’s the station, which exits through a covered parade of cute shops, and then you pop out of the shopping area and the castle is RIGHT THERE, looming over you. Cross the high street and you are at the entrance.

If you arrive at Windsor Riverside, the walk is indeed only a bit longer, but it is up hill. This might be what you are remembering about your walk when you visited previously. It can FEEL a lot longer, is what I am saying. So, if you aren’t fond of uphill walks, I’d recommend arriving at Windsor Central.
