Hello there,
I am hoping to visit Windsor Castle on my 10 hour layover in London, but I will be flying in to Gatwick and out of Heathrow. I checked the Royal Collection website regarding baggage at Windsor Castle and it says this:
On arrival, you and your belongings will be subject to airport-style security checks.
Some items, such as large items of baggage, backpacks, pushchairs, pen-knives and scissors will have to be checked in
and reclaimed at the end of the visit.
I will be traveling with one carry-on backpack (Tom Bihn Aeronaut). Has anyone checked in baggage of this size at Windsor? I really don't want to go to Heathrow, store my luggage, then out to Windsor, then back to Heathrow.
