Does anyone know if children ages 12, 14, and 15 have to pay adult prices for ground passes at Wimbledon?
I've just telephoned the ticket office and the kind person at the other end confirmed that all people obtaining grounds tickets pay the same price - babes in arms to seniors. Do note that the price varies from day to day, price details on the website.
Maybe the other thing to note is that children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, so yours can't go wandering off on their own. Not of relevance to the OP, but children under 5 don't need a ticket, but can't go into any of the Show Courts.
Thank you so much for letting me know about this. I really appreciate the extra step u took to find out for me. Have a great day!
Thanks for the correction, Marco. I actually asked the woman on the phone at the Wimbledon ticket office if that was for babies too and she said that everybody had to pay.
You can't trust what they say.
I think the logic being followed here is that children under 5 can't/don't occupy a seat.
Don't think it has been mentioned in any of the threads that people who leave Centre and No 1 Court early before the end of play can offer up their place to be sold for charity through a booth within the grounds. There can however, be a long queue for this as well.
Are there still still grounds passes for sale in advance or were you planning on queuing up?
I would love to find some ground passes for sale at a reasonable price, but haven’t been able to. At this point we are planning to get up at 5;00 to join the queue
Don't forget to try to buy anything released on Ticketmaster the day before at 9am. You might get lucky, but they go quickly so best get set up in advance if you aren't already registered etc.
The only tickets you can legitimately buy right now are ones from debenture holders which will cost the proverbial arm and a leg.

For your best chance (and it's not guaranteed) be at the queue before 6am. People will have camped out overnight and if Centre Court and Number 1 Court tickets are sold out, those overnighters will buy whatever grounds passes remain.
Hi Marco, thank you SO much for your advice about going on Ticketmaster to try my luck with ground pass tickets to Wimbledon. I did attempt to set up the Ticketmaster app on my phone so that I could register ahead of time. However, when I installed the app and tried setting up whatever I needed for Wimbledon, it said that the app was only good for purchase in North America (I'm from the U.S.). I have been trying all morning to find a way to set up an international ticketmaster app but have hit a wall with this. Do you know how to install this and set it up so that I can be ready at 9:00 on Friday, July 5 to try getting these prized tickets? Again, I really appreciate your help. Linda
Have you tried calling Ticketmaster and asking for technical help?
Have you tried the website rather than the app? https://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/
You might be able to at least create an account here, and get the appropriate App when in the UK.
