Wi-Fi on Intercity Trains or Buses?

I'm planning to be in the Manchester - Liverpool -York area for several days. Do any of the inter-city trains or buses in that area have wifi?

Thank you.

sorry, miles, the question is a little vague.

Can you work out which trains or buses (or coaches) you intend to use? Virgin, TPE, East Midlands?

Stagecoach "X" bus, National Express, or local bus?

All these are privately owned and operated and all make their own wifi policy.

When you use the term Inter-City are you using the brand name (as was) or the fact that you are going between the big cities only?

Thank you for the questions Nigel.

My home base will be Liverpool, and I plan to take day-trips on whatever buses or trains will take me to Manchester, Chester, York and Warwick / Stratford-upon-Avon. I don't know what brands I will ride, but it I have a choice I'll choose ones with wi-fi.

Power outlets would be nice also :)

Thank you both for your information. I won't expect any wifi on buses or trains, but if it happens I'll be grateful.

Me and the misses once drove up the M40 towards Oxford, drove up behind and Oxford Express Coach and connected to their free wifi from our car :o) so some do have it, and it worked fine for as long as we were behind them. This was before we all got 4G.
