I'll need to book a hotel before a flight home next April.
I've flown the LHR to PHL route before, but I don't recall and i'm not sure I believe Google which says T5.

Terminal 3 usually
Really, it is easy to go between terminals. Pick any hotel in the terminal areas and you will be fine. I’ve stayed at Soffitel (terminal 5) for a splurge and Premier Inn Terminal 4 for savings. Tube is free between terminals.

Yes, AA operated flights are out of T3.
If it's a codeshare with BA, BA-operated flights go out of T5.

Slight bit of trivia. American Airlines recently leased one of their Heathrow gates to One World Alliance fellow member Alaska Airlines. Who wants to guess who has the farthest gate now?

Yes! American is out at the very END of the concourse on T3! When the monitor says go the the gate, start moving.
