Which Pub? (Windsor-Eton)

I’m trying to decide between two pubs in particular for fish and chips and Eton Mess. I’m looking at the George Inn and the Boatman. I’ve read reviews on both, but wondered if anyone has any first-hand knowledge? Also looking for some nice outdoors atmosphere. The George looks like it has a very pretty garden and the Boatman is on the river. Thanks in advance😃

I do not, but see they are about a block apart.
The George has Eton Mess on the menu but Boatman does not (published anyway).
