I'm trying to come up with a rough itinerary for a trip to London next May. I would like to work in a half day trip to visit Greenwich to see the observatory, the Cutty Sark and walk around. I've come up with three possible combos based on proximity to the boat piers. I was hoping some of you that are familiar can comment on which of these would allow the most time in Greenwich without rushing the morning activity.
Visit Churchill War Rooms at opening (9:30 in May), then boat from Westminster Pier to Greenwich - Saturday or Tuesday
Visit Tower of London at opening (9:00), then boat from Tower Pier to Greenwich - Saturday or Tuesday
Attend Mass at Westminster Cathedral (10:00-11:00), then boat from Westminster Pier to Greenwich - Sunday
Thank you for any advice you can provide.
