Where to stay in SE England - 3 nights

Hello! We are planning a 3 day drive in SE England in early June and would love opinions on our destinations and suggestions on which towns to stay in overnight. Rough idea below. Thanks in advance for any input!

Day 1 - picking up car in London in morning. Stops in Leeds Castle, Canterbury, Dover.

Day 2 - Stops in Hastings, Seven Sisters

Day 3 - Stops in Brighton, Hever Castle

Return to LHR early on Day 4 for flight home.

We stayed in Tonbridge, Canterbury, and Rye when we visited that part of England.

These are all nice places, tho in Dover there’s not a whole lot to do beyond the castle (which is worth visiting). I think you might be trying to fit in a bit more than you can realistically do in a day, so would consider cutting down. If it were me I might stick to just Kent because you could then add in the lovely Kent coast (Whitstable, Margate, Deal, etc). Altho Seven Sisters is hard to beat. But if you want to properly see it I would give yourself enough time to walk along the cliffs.

Trying to do Leeds Castle, Canterbury and Dover in one day is very ambitious. You could easily fill a day just in Canterbury . Leeds Castle will take half a day, especially as it is quite a long walk from the car park to the castle. If you are wanting to visit Dover castle, that deserves another half day.
