Hello all, My wife and I will be in London ( flying into Heathrow ) Sept. 8 and leaving by train to Brussels on Sept. 11th.
A short stay. We would like to stay in an area where some of the more interesting sights are located. We are walkers and enjoy getting around that way.
With only 3 days what should be on our list not to miss?
Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, Tom
Do you have a budget for accomodation?
There's a map on this link that gives a broad outline the various areas of central London.

No one area is close to all the sights as London is so large, and despite being walkers you will use the tube and buses to get around.
You need to decide on a budget, use something like booking.com to get some ideas and come back if you need feedback on your choices.
Premier Inns are a popular chain of hotels and depending on your dates can be very good value.
Ooppsss, I should have included that in my question.
I'd like to go no higher than $250 USD a night.

Thank you Ramblin
I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

Look at the Premier Inn Kings Cross - reason being, within budget, new rooms and it's a short walk to St Pancras for your train to Brussels
Perfect,, thanks so much. You have been a big help.
Have a great day!

If you want a little hotel with no frills I suggest the Belgravia near Victoria Station. (I found it on Hotels.com when we had a last minute stay over in London) and easy walking distance to Buckingham Palace and then on to the River Thames and Big Ben!!!
Thank you very much.
I booked a room at the Premier Inn London King's Cross.
Thank you again.
