if I want to see Westminster Abbey using 2-1 ticket, is it the same ticket line as for others? I recall midday that it stretched around the building. This would be for Friday 6/29 midday.
I only remember one place to get tickets at the Abbey, so my guess is yes. At Hampton Court Palace we used the same line as everyone else. Fortunately it was November, so there was no line. The 2 for 1 doesn’t give any special privilege, just one free admission.
Yes because I think that’s the security line. If you buy your ticket in advance though you can show your ticket to the guard when you get to the front of the security line so you can then bypass the next line that forms for people that need to buy the entrance ticket. I was there a few weeks ago and the security line took about 10 minutes at around 1030 am. I just realized you wanted to do the 2 for 1 so you may have to get in that ticket buying line unfortunately.
It never hurts to ask the security on which line the pre-paid tickets go through, as I think they might also adjust it based on crowds. We had the London Pass and since we were there in Sept (less crowded), many of the places didn't even have us go through a separate line (even though the London Pass line was marked separately). But we learned from other trips -- if in doubt, ask someone on-site, since it can change.
